We are both Fifth year students studying Structural Engineering with Architecture at the University of Edinburgh. We saw this thesis as an oppurtunity to use our skills learnt through university in a different field. We hope that our research could go onto improve the design of the knee replacements and which in turn improve the life of the recipients.
